The Formula 1 paddock heads from Australia to Malaysia for round two of the season. Round two is the first live race for the BBC this season, with coverage airing on BBC One as usual.
Elsewhere, the 2015 MotoGP championship begins on BT Sport. In the second year of their exclusively live contract, as of writing, no details about their coverage have been officially announced, I’ve compiled what we know so far here. As revealed on this blog earlier this year, ITV4 will again be broadcasting highlights on Monday evenings. Also beginning is the IndyCar Series live on ESPN, an agreement which will run through to 2022.
NOTE: Clocks go forward one hour on Sunday 29th March, with the change from Greenwich Mean Time to British Summer Time. The times listed are for GMT on Saturday and before; BST for Sunday and afterwards…

As always, if anything changes, I’ll update the schedule.
You have FP3 for BBC TV and radio as being the 27th but it should say the 28th (you have the right date for Sky).
Also interesting to note that with the forum, the BBC coverage ends 15mins after the Sky coverage for the race.
Ha, thanks, have fixed!
If it rains on Sunday, whats the most likely, stay on BBC1 or push to 2?
I’d say until 11am on BBC One at least. Surely though post Bianchi, if the race was stopped due to heavy rain, it wouldn’t restart?
Cant see the Bianchi incident changing much other than the VSC.They have 4 hours to play with now, so they will have wait around like before.
Do you know if Indycar is clashing with MotoGP.
Yes darthjoshua2 it does…I’d watch the bike races later if I was you.
That’s actually really annoying.
What?..My comment that you should watch the IndyCar season opener instead of the Marquez show?..One needs to be specific you know.
There’s no direct clash – the MotoGP should be finished around 19:45 with IndyCar starting half an hour later, so best of both worlds.
Here’s a stupid question… Any word on what the bbc is doing in terms of the red button service during the races?.. Was kind of fun being able to listen to the pit lane sound over the race feed (the joys of a Samsung tv lol
Just checked the epg and bbc will have the multiscreen feed with audio options on red button in quali and im assuming the race also.
Also thought bbc announced rewind f1 would be on between fp3 and quali on live weekends
F1 Rewind starts on the weekend of the Bahrain GP. I am unaware if there will be any Classic F1 on the Red Button next weekend.
